How do I become a Graduate Master Remodeler (GMR)?
Curriculum and Other Requirements
- Hold a an active CGR designation for 9 years or an active CR (Certified Remodeler) certification from NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) for 10 years
- Have 15 years remodeling industry experience
- Successfully complete 5 required courses
- Adherence to the GMR Code of Ethics

Associated Fees
- Local course fees: determined by the local HBA
- Graduation Fees: $135.00 members $245.00 non-members
- Renewal Fee: $50.00 annually for members $75.00 non-members
Continuing Education Requirements
Twelve (12) Continuing Education hours every three years
